Need help with your timer or account?

Email speechanddebatetimer@gmail.com. Include your app version, device model, and a description of the problem. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment details, or private signing keys.

Using the timer

Choose a speech or debate event, then use Start, Pause, and Reset. Debate formats include individual segments and prep-time pools. Timers and device settings work without an account and can be used offline.

Confirm event timings with your tournament organizer. This app is a timing aid, not an official source of tournament rules.

Stopping flashing alerts

Tap the screen to stop flashing. The non-flashing notice disappears too. If you do not tap, flashing stops automatically after 30 seconds. You can disable flashing in alert settings.

Flashing lights may affect photosensitive users. Disable flashing if needed.

Optional accounts and saved settings

An account is not required to use the timers. Account registration is intended for users age 13 or older. The website and mobile app share your account. In Account, use Save or Load to sync settings explicitly; device-local preferences are separate.

Deleting an account

Open Account, sign in, choose Delete account, and confirm. This permanently deletes the shared website/mobile account and cloud preferences, including any website ad-removal entitlement.

You can also request deletion without installing or signing in to the app. Removing the app alone does not delete an online account.

Mobile pricing

The mobile app has no ads, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paid ad removal. Website advertising and payment services are separate.
